Culture Rocks came as an idea to bring the African experience, culture, and lifestyle to the diaspora here in the US, to help them explore and connect to their roots and ancestry through fashion, clothing, jewelry, art, and music. Our products are include African/Afrocentric t-shirts, men & women's dress shirts, dashiki, pants & shorts, men & women's kaftan, glass beaded jewelry, waist beads, anklets, maasai necklaces (from Kenya), Shea butter, black soap, head wraps, etc. We empower and encourage our customers to be proud of the ancestry, heritage and culture.
About 70% of our products are from West Africa and are handmade by hardworking and talented individuals. This is another amazing thing Culture Rocks does. We empower fashion designers, tailors, artists, painters, jewelry and soap makers in Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya, by patronizing their handmade products to help support their work and families. Such talents are often unproductive and uninteresting to the locals in our home countries, so they struggle to make ends meet. Culture Rocks is proud to support African artists and designers!
